Key Concepts: This module focuses on the implementation of evidence-based practices—the principles, issues, frameworks and strategies discussed also apply to the implementation of a promising practice, an innovation, and evidence-informed practices in the context of the implementation of a system of care.
Participants will increase their knowledge about implementation frameworks in evidence-based practices and evidence-based programs, and will gain an understanding of the practical frameworks for launching effective implementation efforts within real world settings. Students also will understand the functions of purveyors, stages of implementation and the seven implementation drivers in relation to effectively implementing evidence-based programs and practices. This information is designed to help administrators and supervisors understand the key frameworks as well as the functions that administrators and supervisors must attend to in order to successfully implement any new innovation.
