3-201 Organizing Service Systems for Tribal Communities (administrators)
(3-201)

Key Concepts: This lesson will present an overview of the major issues for Administrators/Supervisors to consider when developing, implementing, supervising, evaluating and “marketing” to tribal elected officials and/or tribal administrators responsible for service systems in Tribal communities

In the module, Effective Service Systems for Tribal Communities, we will focus on the key areas that administrators and supervisors need to consider when developing, implementing, and evaluating and marketing mental health service system models for children and adolescents in Tribal communities. Service systems, as discussed in this module, include multiple agencies in different sectors (mental health, education, juvenile justice, child welfare, primary care, etc) that provide services and support to children and their families. The major goal of this training session is to provide some practical information that can help Tribal administrators and supervisors design and implement effective programs and services for Tribal communities. We also hope that this session will provide some useful ideas on ways to mobilize available resources and document outcomes that can help sustain the services that were developed.
